As I toured the beautiful island of Cuba, away from the major cities, we passed house after house that had a dog on the roof. Asking our guide, he said most homes do not have fences, so they leave the dog on the roof. The dog can be outside, watch over the entire yard, and alert the homeowners of visitors. This is an easy, efficient, inexpensive way to protect the home and care for the family.
